WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) and Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) today praised President Trump’s nomination of G. Todd Butler of Mississippi to serve as judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Wicker and Hyde-Smith committed to working toward his confirmation. Mr. Butler would succeed Judge Leslie H. Southwick, who has elected to take senior status.
